Andrzej Krauze sull'ultima manovra Brexit di Boris Johnson -
Il Regno Unito, con una visione gonfiata del suo potere negoziale, minaccia di rinnegare l'accordo di recesso dell'UE
A little help for Boris
The Brexit negotiations continue.
Marian Kamensky
On 14 September, British MPs adopted a bill that partly contradicts the commitments made by the United Kingdom in the Withdrawal agreement from the EU signed by Prime Minister Boris Johnson in January.
The bill drew criticism from all sides, including Johnson’s own Conservative Party, for contravening an international treaty. It will have to be further discussed anyway, and may be amended before it is finally adopted. The prospect of a comprehensive agreement on the future relationship between the UK and the EU by 31 October thus seems to be fading away.
Working towards a Brexit deal.
