The cartoon by Andy Davey from The Sun shows the Queen knighting Andy Murray. The Wimbledon champion, who is wearing his tennis kit and holding the men's singles trophy, is down on one knee. David Cameron is giving the thumbs up sign to show his approval. The joke is that the Queen is using a tennis racket to knight Murray rather than the usual sword.

Mentre si gioca la partita, una grande soddisfazione tutta italiana, sul tabellone appare il risultato di Gianluigi Quinzi , vincitore del torneo junior contro il coreano Chung. Era dal 1986 che un italiano non vincesse, da Diego Nargiso. Fa una bella impressione leggere quel nome al Centre Court.
