Marco De Angelis (born in Rome, Italy, in 1955) is a professional journalist, cartoonist, illustrator, graphic designer. He published on La Repubblica, Il Popolo (he was redactor in these daily newspapers), Il Messaggero, Il Mattino, Grazia, Panorama and other 200 newspapers, as Washington Post, Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Herald, Le Monde, Courrier International, Yez, Nebelspalter, etc. CartoonArts International, The New York Times Syndicate and Cartoon Movement.distributed his works worldwide. Illustrator of many children’s books for the most important publishers, as Giunti, De Agostini, La Scuola and others, he had several collaborations with associations, companies and televisions. He is editor in chief of the magazine online Buduàr. Winner of the Golden Palm in Bordighera 1997 and over 130 awards (Istanbul, Tehran, Tokyo, Skopje, Montreal, Belgrade, Olen, Ferrara, Dolo, Fano, etc.) he is also part of Cartooning for Peace.
