I'm seeing a lot of Obama rallies on TV lately with lots of raving fans waving signs reading "Middle Class First". On the surface, this sounds nice and progressive populist and all, until you stop and think of how Obama bailed out the banks and Wall Street and left the foreclosed and unemployed hanging out to dry, and how the Presidential candidates of both wings of the Party pander to the middle class while totally ignoring the working class and the poor. 06 Oct 2012

Il primo dibattito televisivo tra il Presidente degli Stati Uniti Barack Obama e il candidato repubblicano Mitt Romney si è svolto a Denver, in Colorado il 3 ottobre scorso. Ed è stata un’esposizione concentrata delle ricette economiche democratiche e repubblicane, una full immersione nei problemi dell’America in crisi. Romney, nei panni dell’attaccante, ha trovato un Obama dalla difesa particolarmente solida.
Media e sondaggi sono tutti d’accordo. Il primo confronto televisivo tra Barack Obama e Mitt Romney va al candidato repubblicano. Nei novanta minuti spesi davanti a 40 milioni di spettatori, l’avversario del presidente in carica è sembrato più aggressivo e sicuro di sé, soprattutto se paragonato a Obama, apparso invece troppo rinunciatario, quasi smarrito.
